Last month, homes priced correctly were selling even more quickly as nearly 64% of the new homes coming on the market sold in 10 days or less. BUT, after many months of inventory decreasing each month, there are 20 more homes on the market this month than there were last month. Although most homes are selling quickly, the ones that don’t are sitting much longer as the average days on the market has increased to 33 days overall!
This year we have 186 homes for sale where we had 317 at the same time last year! That is 41.3% fewer homes on the market for buyers to choose from. With interest rates still below 3%, it’s a great time to buy, and with anxious buyers and limited inventory, it’s for sure a great time to sell!
